If you choose this topic, you will be researching World War II. People have dedicated their whole lives to this subject, so you have to determine an area of focus, or a way to identify key details. You are responsible for determining and presenting the key details about the war to the class. Make sure you spend more time on the Pacific Theatre as this is the area where Louis Zamperini was stationed and ultimately held prisoner.

- If you choose this option, you may present this information in whatever format you feel best suits the material (i.e. videos, prezi, powerpoint, etc.) You may want to incorporate a timeline and should definitely have at least one map.

- How/Why did the U.S. enter the war?
- What was the Pacific Theatre and how does it connect to our text?
- What is the relevance of World War II to our Essential Question: How do attitude and mindset impact an individual's ability to overcome hardship?

You won't be able to get youtube on the computers, but you can watch them on your phone or ask me to see the downloads.
