15.1 Candidates will be able to create original multimedia products to maximize learning.
As I moved through this program, I worked to incorporate my learning into my classroom. This was particularly apparent with the multimedia projects I used with my students. One project that I did was a webquest, hosted on my website, where students moved through a variety of media sources (based on topics of their choosing) and created a product that showcased what they learned.
Another project I did was a virtual Breakout room as a starting point for our Unit on The Other Wes Moore. Students had to first find the links embedded on a Thinglink and then navigate through those sources to find the answers to unlock the "room".
A third project my students completed was a webquest, also hosted on my website, where students moved through a variety of media sources as they learned the background for The Crucible.
In addition to these projects, my students routinely created various multimedia projects including the digital stories I previously explained in some detail.
