Step Today you will complete a webquest to gather background information to better connect to and understand our new text Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand. Once you have completed the webquest, you will conduct a mini-research project about a topic assosciated with the text.
On your organizer, you will fill in the appropriate sections as you move through the webquest.
Step 4 : Choose one of the following options to conduct a mini-research project. You will become the expert on your topic and you will demonstrate your expertise by teaching your topic to the class on Monday (12/12/16). Look at each project page to get an idea of what you will be doing and/or what is involved:
A topic of your choosing that is approved by Ms. Stith on 12/8/2016 (after that date, you do not have enough time to create a new topic).
Step 5: Decide on a way to present what you have discovered or learned to the class. The link provided has a variety of ways you can choose to present your information. You will do presentations on Monday 12/12/16 and these presentations will be filmed! Make sure that you are able to complete your project in the time provided. I will be here after school on 12/8 and 12/9 for students who need additional time on the computers. I can and will also support students with lunch hours so you can work during your lunch. See me for a pass.
