Throughout my time in this program, I created a number of videos for different purposes. One of the videos that required the most skills was the Digital Story I created for my students to act as a book trailer for Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood. I also combined different approaches and did videos with screen in screen editing to support students. I used a variety of applications and tools to create these videos including EzVid, Screencast-o-Matic, Animatron and others.

Creates at least 4 high-quality assignments for students that integrate interactive video into the curriculum. 2 of the interactive videos use advanced features of the tech resource.
Edpuzzle is a resource that I learned about in the program and have used with several different classes. One of my videos was about evaluating source when writing, which I used with one of my English classes. This made a great tool for students who needed create an article. The second one I made for my media students and although it's a video about digital media, I used it as a way to ask students about the key concepts we were covering in our media course. I also used Video Ant to annotate videos as I watched them. Originally, this site wasn't usable at my school, but it is now. I look forward to using it more with my students. |
